Student Art Exhibit

The Spring 2012 Student Art Exhibit kicked off a two-week celebration of student artists with food and fun on Wednesday, April 18. The exhibit is located in the library on the main and lower floors and shows off paintings, sculptures, drawings, and pottery completed by students over the course of the Spring semester.

New management has high hopes for increasing student residency

Did you know that the Kulanaa'o student housing complex (often casually referred to as "the dorms" by UHMC students) is actually occupied by a majority of residents that are not college students at all? It may come as a surprise, but the fact of the matter is, around 70 percent of residents living at "the dorms" (located at 50 Vevau Street in Kahului) are not students; rather, families and working adults, many of whom are not enrolled at UHMC.

According to the "Student Life" page of the UHMC Website, the Associated Students of University of Hawai‘i Maui College (ASUHMC) is "the official student organization and the representing governing body of the ASUHMC... the Governance Council is responsible for administering student activity fees and for developing and providing programs, services, and activities to meet student needs.
